Easy Homemade Pizza Dough

This easy homemade pizza dough recipe is a great way to make your own pizza dough from scratch. It requires only a few simple ingredients and takes less than an hour to make. The result is a delicious, chewy pizza dough that can be used for any type of pizza.


  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Stir to combine.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  5. Once the dough has doubled in size, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out to the desired size.
  6. Place the dough on a lightly greased pizza pan and top with desired toppings.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
